United States Director Of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard Says Goodbye, To Focus On Husband’s Health

Tulsi Gabbard resigned from her position as the U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI).

Gabbard on her last day on  X wrote: “I just walked out of @ODNIgov HQ for the last time. 

“Thank you President Trump – I remain grateful for the profound honor of serving the American people and our nation as the Director of National Intelligence. “

In a resignation letter submitted to President Donald Trump, Gabbard stated her departure is effective June 30.

She cited the need to step away from public service to care for her husband, Abraham, who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

 President Trump accepted her resignation and appointed her principal deputy, Aaron Lukas, as the acting director
