The relative of a 24-year-old Pricilla Ocheme seek for justice over the death of their daughter. The deceased was reported to have allegedly visited a former school mate in Abuja, identified as @iamomoba on Instagram after inviting her over for a visit.
However, thereafter the family were informed of the death of the young lady whom the friend claimed had died in an accident.
Not being satisfied with the explanation from the friend, the family got him arrested by the Nigeria Police Force but had been released as no concrete evidence was found against him.
According to Harrison Gwamnishu, an influencer on social media known for advocating for justice, he revealed that Pricilla’s brother had reach out to him, as the family want justice and closure over the untimely death of their daughter.
The brother in a text being read by Harrison had explained that the former student of the Madonna University left for Lugbe, Abuja to visit a male friend of the same institution upon invitation.
The family whom are frustrated by the workings of the police personnel insinuated that Pricilla was murdered by the male friend and had expected the NPF to carry out proper finding about the said accident and performed autopsy on the deceased who is still at the mortuary.
Harrison called out the authorities to reopen the investigation and ensure that a thorough autopsy is conducted to determine the cause of Priscilla’s death.
The victim’s family continues to seek answers, pleading for a fair investigation that will lead to the prosecution of those responsible for her untimely death.
