Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina emerges as 1st Runner Up at Miss Universe 2024. She ranked second in the world. She is the highest ranked African contestant this year.
Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina has been named as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania at Miss Universe 2024. She is the first Nigerian to make it to the Top 5. She finished as the 1st Runner up. She is now Miss Universe Nigeria, Africa and Oceania.
When asked at the beauty pageant competition: “this universe has inspired generations of women, what is your message to the ones watching you right now?”
She had replied: “As a woman who has faced adversity, I feel like I have a powerful story. I don’t stand here as Chidimma Adetshina;
“I stand here as a symbol of hope, a beacon of faith. As someone who has persevered with grace, I believe I’ve fought for not only myself but for Africa!”
