Super Falcons caretaker coach, Justine Madugu, has named a 20-player squad for the upcoming international friendly against France.
The 60-year-old has called up seven players from the domestic league but omitted record and reigning African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, from the squad. Team captain Rasheedat Ajibade is also missing from the list. Meanwhile, Ashleigh Plumptre, Oyinbo Wall, is fully back to the national team after her recent battles with injuries. The 26-year-old defender is expected to strengthen the squad’s backline.
The friendly match is scheduled for Saturday, November 30, in France.
