David Adeleke professionally known as Davido in a recent interview discouraged people living in diaspora against coming back to Africa especially Nigeria. He had affirmed in the interview that there is nothing to come home to at the moment.
Adeleke categorically stated that the country has bad leaders that has driven it to its present state of economic instability, thereby discouraging investors in coming to the country for any kind of businesses.
However things took a different turn as some of the people that has always been his staunch supporters opined that he doesn’t have any right to bad mouth or reveal the perpetual state of poverty the country is currently experiencing.
Since the interview that occurred some days back, Davido had been getting hatred from some certain corners, so much that he revealed that they planned cancelling his shows in the country.
The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner seems unbothered about it as he stated on his X account that: “I don’t have to perform in Nigeria.”
