The Manchester United Horror: Bruno Fernandes Sent Off as Red Devils Concede from a Corner in 2-0 Loss at Molineux

Manchester United suffered another setback, conceding their 19th goal in just 10 matches under Rúben Amorim, as Wolves piled further pressure on the Red Devils with a 2-0 victory.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off two minutes after the start of the second half. This marked his third red card of the season, making him the first Manchester United player in the last 10 years to be sent off three times across all competitions in a single season.

Eleven minutes later, Wolves capitalized on their numerical advantage. Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock from a direct corner, exploiting Manchester United’s vulnerability from set pieces.

Wolves sealed all three points in stoppage time. Alejandro Garnacho was muscled off the ball by Cunha, the Brazilian drove forward before laying it off for Hwang Hee-chan to score an easy goal.

The Red Devils will be without captain Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte for their final home game of the year against Newcastle United.

Manchester United have managed to collect only 7 points out of a possible 21 under Rúben Amorim. They currently sit in 14th in the Premier League, just 8 points above the relegation zone.
