Authorities in Ghana have responded to a large fire at the Kantamanto Market near the Accra Railway Station in early hour of Thursday.
In a video Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) share on social media, showcases their effort in battling the outbreak.
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has halted the power supply in the area to facilitate firefighting efforts, however, the cause of the fire is unclear.
According to local media, this is not be the first time Kantamanto market will be experiencing fire outbreak.
Many of victims affected have asked the government for assistance to enable them get back into contributing their quota into the economy.
