NAHCON Announces 2025 Hajj Fare, Advices Pilgrims to Register Early and Adhere to Saudi Guidelines.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria –NAHCON—disclosed that pilgrims intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2025 will be required to pay between N8.3 million and N8.7 million for fares, depending on their region.
The commission’s chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, stated this in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.
He defended the fare as the result of extensive deliberations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards.
The statement read, “The 2025 Hajj fare for Borno and Adamawa zone’s intending pilgrims is N8.33 million. Similarly, the cost for intending pilgrims from the Southern states is N8.78 million, while pilgrims from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million
“This modest effort was achieved after extensive consultations to ensure inclusivity in the decision-making process”
Prospective pilgrims were advised to adhere to Saudi guidelines, register early, and make timely payments to avoid inconveniences.
