The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday received the chairman and CEO of Nigeria in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Co-founder and President of African Ancestry Delegation Gina Paige on courtesy visit.
The governor who received them at the state office appreciated their effort in serving humanity and thus share his vision for the states with the guests.
In his words: “Their commitment to connecting people of African descent with their roots is commendable and vital in fostering a deeper understanding of our shared heritage.
“Our rich and diverse history is crucial to our identity as Nigerians and Africans.
“We discussed potential initiatives, and I shared our vision for Lagos as a hub for cultural exchange and a beacon for the African diaspora.”
He gave them the Lagos State emblem as courtesy gift.
