Prominent Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement with Lecce for Danish talent Patrick Dorgu.

Fabrizio reported on his X account:

“Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United, here we go! Verbal agreement in place with Lecce, documents to be checked in next 24h.

Fee will be €30m plus €5m in add-ons not guaranteed.

Long-term contract agreed days ago with the player…

…and first signing for Rúben Amorim.”

The Danish international will be Rúben Amorim’s first signing at Manchester United. The 19-year-old has been a key figure for Lecce this season, featuring in 21 of their 22 matches.
