Spain captain Álvaro Morata has joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on loan until the end of the season. The former Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Juventus, and Chelsea striker will remain in Istanbul between February 2, 2025, and January 20, 2026.
According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Galatasaray will pay Morata’s parent club, AC Milan, €6 million for the loan transfer. The club also holds an option to make the move permanent for £8 million.
Morata expressed his commitment to the team, stating:
“I will do my best as long as I wear the Galatasaray jersey. It is a very nice jersey. I can promise that I will give my all on the field and fight for the jersey.”
