Aston Villa have completed the signing of Axel Disasi on loan until the end of the season. The move was finalized in the final hours of transfer deadline day.

The club announced the signing on their official X handle.

Tottenham had approached Disasi twice in the early hours of deadline day, but the player rejected the club on both occasions.

Disasi’s move to Aston Villa is a straight loan with no option to buy. The Villans will pay a loan fee of £5 million and cover the entirety of his wages.

The French international is expected to return to Chelsea at the end of the season.
