The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday paid a working visit to the Adiyan Water Works to check on the progress of Phase II of the project, where civil works are being carried out, including installing pipes to transport water from the Ogun River to Adiyan.

The water works project will supply Lagos residents with 70 million gallons of water daily.

Sanwo-Olu has pledged to ensure the completion of the project “as it will significantly enhance the economy and living standards of Lagosians.

“I am confident that we will continue to build the necessary capacity to meet the water needs of our city.” Lagos State Governor added
