And so it’s important that attorneys general representing our respective states stand up and enforce the rule of law, because Elon Musk, individuals that the Treasury and the President of these United States is not above the law.

She added that Trump does not have the authority to “give away Americans’ private information to anyone he chooses.”

 “Musk and DOGE have no authority to access Americans’ private information and some of our country’s most sensitive data. I am taking action to keep our information secure, and to prevent any unconstitutional freeze on essential funding that Americans rely on every day,” James declared
