Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released his first provisional squad for Nigeria’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Chelle, who was appointed as Nigeria’s men’s national team manager earlier this year, faces the task of securing a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The Super Eagles currently sit second from the bottom in Group C and must be at their best to improve their qualification chances.
The coach has named a 39-man squad for the crucial fixtures.
