Happy birthday to Jagun Jagun Olusegun Ajasegun Aremu Matthew Ogunboye Obasanjo PhD GCFR born 05 03 1937 now 88 years official but about 92 years actual.

OBJ’s father was Amos Adigun Obaluaiyesanjo(Obasanjo) Bankole.

OBJ’s mother was Bernice Asabi Bankole.

OBJ’s only sibling sister is Adunni Oluwole Obasanjo.

All the extended family members are bearing Bankole.

Iyabo, Deboye and Dare extremely resemble Baba too much. All other children resemble Baba. Baba use his handwriting to write the names of the 21 children and he personally requested that Ebenezer Obey to chant the names into the live play during his 87th birthday. People interpreted that when Baba goes home, nobody will be able to come forward that he or she is a child of Baba.

Brigadier General Deboye Obasanjo was decorated personally by Baba at the invitation of the Army Headquarters.

Nearly all the 21 children have a PhD. There are no children that are not brilliant. They are extremely brilliant like Baba. Baba angrily obtained his PhD by doing all the assignments, writing all the exams etc on his own. Baba is very arrogant when it comes into books. Nobody can help him to write a Memo. Nobody. Baba writes letters a lot and his letters were effective against Shagari and IBB. Tinubu, a master strategist, no letter can move him. Baba’s ambition was to become a Prof of Geography in life and nothing more. But Awolowo Government had only one scholarship for Baptist Boys High School Abeokuta. They gave it to MKO. The rest is history.
Baba is Owu ponbele. Baba was never an Ibo. The records of his father are in the archives of Owu Baptist Church Ibogun Olaogun, Ifo Ogun State. His father died a drunkard. Baba wrote it in My Watch. He behaves Owu, strong head and very stingy. All the children are behaving Owu ponbele. In fact two of them rebelled against Baba: Iyabo and Gbenga. They are defending their mother Remi Obasanjo. Baba is a permanent “enemy” of Prof Wole Soyinka. Baba is suspected to be older than WS who is now officially older than Baba. Baba used 3 birthday days when struggling at the beginning. Eventually he settled with this current birthday and year when he got to Army but he forgot to adjust for those calling him Buoda like late Onaolapo Soleye and WS etc. Many of his juniors were/are now older than him. He chose the date by himself. His father and mother said he was born on Ibokun Olaogun market day, that she could not go to the market again on that day as earlier planned.

Baba is always fighting PBAT permanently.

Baba’s best friend was a gentleman late Owu Prince Bola Ajibola, SAN, the founder of the popular Crescent University Abeokuta. They never fought in their life. Baba fought another top Owu man late Akin Olugbade. The fight ended when Pa Akin Olugbade died.

Baba’s favorite child is Dr Kofo Obasanjo Blackshire who married a white Baptist Pastor. Baba is a “professional” Baptist man. Hope all the WILL will not go to her???? All other children are quiet naturally with the exception of Iyabo. Even Gbenga is quiet naturally.

Baba’s chicken used to be the best. He stopped it bc people are thiefing the chickens. The pilferages never affected the Profit. We advised Baba to treat the stolen chickens as part of the cost of production. Baba said Mo ti gbo. Baba is stingy.

Baba’s Presidential Library is the best in Nigeria with lakes and Zoo. You have to pay to enter. WS wrote in Who Will Watch the Watchers, that how did Baba get the cowries to build the Presidential Library???? WS said that he used his Nobel Prize money to build his IjeGba forest house. IBB incoming Presidential Library May swallow Baba’s Library.

Frankly speaking, I can’t recognize the daughter that read Agric up to PhD Level. I met her once when she helped to study our farms in Ekpoma. She was black and carried Baba’s face.
