Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that negotiations over a new contract between Franck Zambo Anguissa and Napoli have stalled.
According to the renowned journalist, an agreement for the Cameroon international was close, but the deal was not finalized. As a result, the 29-year-old is now exploring his options regarding his future.

He played a key role in their 2023 Serie A triumph and remains a crucial figure in their title challenge this season under new manager Antonio Conte. So far, he has featured in 26 matches and contributed to eight goals—an impressive stats for a deep-lying midfielder.
The Cameroonian midfielder has had a well-traveled career, having played in France with Marseille, England with Fulham, and Spain with Villarreal.
