The president of Russia Vladimir Putin has agreed to the ceasefire fire of the United State proposal but emphasized that initial cause of the crisis remove in order for permanent peace to reign.

“We agree with the proposition to stop facilities but we proceed from the fact that such ceasefire should be such that would lead to permanent peace and remove the initial original causes of the crisis.” He declared

Putin’s comments came as Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Moscow ahead of talks over Ukraine with the Russian president.

He exposed the U.S. persuasion of Ukraine to the ceasefire, explaining that Ukraine is also interested because of the battlefield situation, with its forces in Kursk fully blocked in the coming days.

“In these conditions, I believe it would be good for the Ukrainian side to secure a ceasefire for at least 30 days,” he said.

Russian President says appreciated Trump and other state leaders for intervening in the matter, hints toward a call with Trump and hint at calling U.S.

“As for Ukraine preparedness to ceasefire, let me tell you, as I see it but first I will like to start with the words of gratitude to the president of United State, Mr. Trump for paying so much attention to the Ukraine settlement, all of us have a lot on our plates but many state leaders, chairman of the Chinese peoples’ Republic, Prime Minister of India , President of Brazil and South African republic, all paid a lot of attention and devout a lot of time to this issue.

“We are thankful to them because it will end in the noble cause of stopping human causality in the conflict

“We agree on the proposal for the ceasefire and we absolutely support it, but there are issues we need to discuss and I think we need to negotiate with our American colleagues and partners.

“Maybe a phone call with President Trump, but the very idea of ending this conflict by peaceful means we support that.”
