Real Madrid Faces Full-Back Crisis as Fran García Injures His left leg Adductor

Spanish media outlet MARCA has reported that Fran García is injured, leaving Real Madrid without a full-back.

The 25-year-old picked up a muscle discomfort in the final moments of the match against Villarreal. He is now a doubt for the match against Leganés, set to take place on the 29th.

This marks Real Madrid’s second full-back injury in the space of a week. Ferland Mendy suffered an injury earlier in the Champions League clash against Atlético Madrid and is expected to return in time for the quarter-final tie against Arsenal.

With no left-back available, Carlo Ancelotti might have to convert Eduardo Camavinga into a full back.

Academy talent Víctor Valdepeñas is an option.  The 18 year old can play as a left-back or center back.
