However, German journalist Florian Plettenberg has debunked the rumours linking him to Bayern. According to him, Van Dijk is not a topic at the club, as he is not part of their summer transfer plans.

Similarly, French journalist Josue Casse has reported that the rumours linking Van Dijk to PSG are untrue, stating that the club is satisfied with its current defensive options.
