Atlético Madrid are looking in to bring in another forward in the summer. The club spent big on the attacking area last year with the arrivals of Julian Alvarez and Alexander Sorloth spending a combined fee of around £113.5m on both of them.
According to English journalist Ben Jacobs the club is looking to bring in Darwin Nunez next summer. Nunez has really found it difficult to adjust under new manager Arne Slot, he has started only eight matches this season in the Premier League while coming on for the other 15 as a substitute.
Liverpool would be hoping to sell the player if the pay his right. Atlético would be willing to consider a loan with an obligation to buy for around £35-£40m for the player.
Nunez also has interest from the Saudi Arabia. Al Nassr really want the player as they believe he will bring in more goals to the team.
A move to Saudi Arabia will benefit Atlético Madrid and Liverpool as it is believed that the Saudi Clubs operate with an unlimited budget.
