American actress, singer and model Teyana Taylor files for petition against ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, a professional basketball player, accusing him of leaking confidential divorce documents and demanding he be held in contempt.

Taylor’s legal team is pushing for her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert, to be jailed for contempt.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, the actress claimed she’s been criticized on social media over misleading reports about who got what in their divorce.

She insisted it wasn’t a “settlement” at all because the parties only got what was awarded by the court including vehicles and a tour bus, which she says she paid for on her own.

The basketball player’s ex clarified that she was awarded four properties, while Shumpert received three, including the Miami condo he originally gifted her.

She also refuted explained about their vehicle division, that she had purchased a Maybach only after Shumpert crashed, totaled, and abandoned her Rolls-Royce without replacing it.

Taylor also revealed that the fallout from these reports subjected her to hate speech and public scrutiny on social media, while Shumpert benefited from trending online.

The actress believes the leak was strategically timed to promote Iman’s new rap song, suggesting he used their divorce drama for publicity.

She is now requesting that the court hold him in contempt, sentencing him to 20 days in jail and imposing the maximum fines allowed.
