Nigerian musician Timi Dakolo in a post has criticized Apostle Femi Lazarus allegedly charging $150 per student for his ministry school.
Dakolo highlighted the hypocrisy, noting the school’s potential 1,000+ students and accusing Lazarus of commercializing ministry.
Earlier Lazarus had condemned gospel artists in the country for their exorbitant prices to minister in churches, he had cited an example of an unidentified singer with a 40 man crew who requested 1st class seating, with a $10,000 invoicce.
To which Dakolo had responded: “Nigerians should believe everything you see… nobody has a 40 man crew in Nigeria, name the artist. In order to justify capping.”
Despite the pastor’s prior condemnation of gospel singers who charge for performances, Dakolo in turn condemned his hypocrisy, screen shooting his theological fees.
According to the singer and music producer: “You are charging people money to come to your school of ministry to learn what you require them to do for free. Running cost they will say.
“But production and Promotional cost of the artist is Irrelevant.
“Make una dey shift the Goal post.” Dakolo added
Apostle Femi Lazarus is the principal of the international School of Ministry, a platform through which he has trained ministers from more than thirty nations.
