Mr. Macaroni Denies Seyi Law Grooming His Career, Express Disappointment Over False Claim

Content creator and skit maker Adebowale Adedayo known as Mr. Macaroni in response to Oluwaseyitan Lawrence a.k.a Seyi Law’s accusation of supporting his career to grow while the former refused to pay royalties or appreciate the effort.

Mr. Macaroni expressed sadness and shame over the comedian’s post explaining that he never clamor for his collaboration, neither did he helped to groom his career like was claimed earlier.

Recall the Nigerian comedian, actor, television host in celebrating his 20 years on stage appreciated some talents that he has helped/groomed in the industry who in turn have been grateful, while he criticized the likes of Adebowale Adedayo known as Mr. Macaroni for not acknowledging his impact in their career.

The comedian had in a post on X alongside a video where he collaborated with Mr. Macaroni in a skit implied that his royalties were not paid, despite the fact that the skit maker was brought to him by his junior cousin.

He wrote: “There are so many things that are oblivious to the media, and one of them is how I have selflessly supported several talents in this country without collecting a dime. Many may not acknowledge my impact in their lives, but that doesn’t write them off.”

However Adedayo disclaimed all that Seyi Law hinted at, posting backup evidence to support his claim that it was the comedian that reached out to him first.

In Mr. Macaroni’s word: “Ehya Uncle Seyi, you shouldn’t be doing this to yourself. I am ashamed that you are doing this and it breaks my heart that I also have to respond to you this way to correct some of these unnecessary lies.

“Firstly, I never asked your cousin to reach out to you on my behalf. How could he have brought me to ask for your support in 2020 when it was you who reached out to me in December 2019 telling me you had an idea that would do so well if we worked on it together.

“Bear in mind that I was already a viral sensation at this time with the daddy wa contents having almost 100,000 followers which is why you reached out with the idea. I don’t deny that collaborating with you on that content was a big deal for me for which i showed love and respect and reciprocated when you also called upon me to help you promote your show.

“Secondly, contrary to your claim that you agreed to support me when Tolu brought me to your Mom’s birthday in January 2020, you invited me yourself for the birthday celebration and I honored you with my presence. I remember taking pictures with some of your guests who were happy to see me and we all had a great time.

“Thirdly, Before I posted the content I created with you, I already had over 100k followers with lots of viral contents including collaboration with other Stars e.g Lateef Adedimeji and Broda Shaggi to mention a few. Lastly, you shared this idea with me and we worked on it together to make the content.

“You making it seem like I was one nuisance that ambushed you at your mother’s birthday party who you decided to help is far from the truth! You saw an existing value, made an investment and cashed out when you called me to help promote your show 2 months after.

“Happy 20th Anniversary Egbon. May God bless you and keep you.” He prayed
