A level 100 student at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana has allegedly committed suicide after found out his partner had cheated on him

The student reportedly committed suicide by hanging on Wednesday, April 16, following a heartbreaking incident involving his girlfriend.

Confirming the incidence on X was the brother who brokenly wrote: “My brother just hanged himself because of a woman at UEW.

“I just held his cold body and I can’t even cry. I’m so sad man” @GhConcra added.

According to eyewitness report, the young man allegedly collapsed after unexpectedly discovering his girlfriend in an intimate situation with another individual at Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme (GUSSS) Hall Two.

Despite the unfortunate event, most people on social media were angry with such decision made by the deceased, while some sympathized and wonder why he was unable to check his emotion before taking such drastic decision.

@CFCDouGlaS: “He should have taken his time. He made emotions take over. When you get that heartbreak you feel like everything is over, sometimes its because of the sex and maybe the physical features of the lady. As time passes, you wonder why you fell that deep. It’s not worth it.”

@RichDhelhi: “I could relate , when my 10years hit the rock last year August , all thoughts coming to mind was to go get drowned but guess what? Today I’m grateful for life and I’m doing well . She’s now regretted her decision . She cries every night now . Just level up and see her come back.”

At present, his body is in the custody of the Winneba police for further investigation.
