U.S. Government To Slash Tariffs On Chinese Imports In A Bid To De-Escalate Tensions With Beijing

The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that the White House is considering slashing tariffs on Chinese goods to de-escalate the trade conflict.

Citing one senior White House official, the news outlet said that tariffs on imports from China were likely to come down to between roughly 50% and 65%.
