Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk during an interview on ‘Sunday Morning’ expressed his disappointment with the recently proposed ‘big, beautiful bill’ by stating that it increases the national budget deficit and undermines the efforts of the ‘DOGE team’ within the Department of Government Efficiency.

He questioned its overall effectiveness and alignment with fiscal conservatism.

Elon Musk: “I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decrease it. And it undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing.

“I think a bill could be big, or it could be beautiful—I don’t know if it can be both.”
