Before releaNyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, GSSRS staff member of the FCDA Lands Registry, the agency—under pressure from FCT Minister @Nyesom Ezenwo Wike issued him a query as a condition for his freedom.
Mr. Mairiga was unlawfully detained for 8 days after allegedly leaking documents that revealed illegal land allocations made by Minister Wike to his own children. Rather than investigate the corruption, the FCDA is persecuting the whistleblower.
He has now been given 72 hours to respond to the query.
This is a clear case of abuse of power and intimidation of civil servants who dare to expose the rot in the system.
