Brentford have confirmed the signing of former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson on a two-year deal.

The 34-year-old midfielder joins the club as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Ajax, where he spent just one season.

Henderson has previously played for Sunderland, Coventry City, Liverpool, and Al-Ettifaq, bringing a wealth of experience to the Brentford squad.

He is expected to fill the role of Christian Nørgaard, who recently departed the club.
