President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni received His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan, the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at State House in Entebbe.

Jonathan on Wednesday arrived Uganda, officiated at the 14th Graduation Ceremony of Cavendish University, where he serves as Chancellor.

During the meeting, the two leaders held discussions on a wide range of issues of mutual interest between Uganda and Nigeria.

President Museveni commended the former Nigerian leader for his continued commitment to education and development on the African continent, while H.E. Jonathan expressed his appreciation for Uganda’s hospitality, lauded the steady progress made by Cavendish University Uganda since its establishment and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening ties between the two nations.
