“Given my age, it’s logical that I won’t make it to the next World Cup. But we’ll take it day by day, match by match.
“I love this, I love playing football and I don’t want it to ever end, but I’m also aware that the moment will eventually come, and it will happen as it has to, naturally. As I’ve been saying, I want to take it step by step, feeling things day by day.
“The truth is… I had been feeling really good, then I had… the injury that left me out, although it was only 15 days. It broke my rhythm, because when I came back I… didn’t feel comfortable. And well, fortunately now I’ve played three matches in a row. I hope to finish the year well… to then start a good preseason.”
