Celtic have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho on a one-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year.

The move has drawn mixed reactions from Celtic supporters, with some fans criticizing the decision to bring in the former Leicester City forward. However, head coach Brendan Rodgers has defended the signing, stating that Iheanacho will add quality to the squad.

“He is such a talented player, with great ability, athleticism and work rate,” Rodgers told Celtic’s official website.

Iheanacho joined Celtic just a day after his contract was terminated by Sevilla.
