Selma Bacha Commits To Lyon Until 2030: A Decade Of Excellence And Loyalty

Selma Bacha has extended her contract with Olympique Lyon until 2030. A product of the OL academy, Bacha joined the club in 2009 and signed her first professional contract at the age of 16 in 2017.

Bacha has been one of the most consistent players for Lyon in recent years. She has made over 110 appearances for the club and has helped Lyon win seven French top-flight titles, four UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies, three Coupe de France Féminine titles, and three Trophée des Championnes.

The 24-year-old has also earned more than 50 caps for France, representing Les Bleues in the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro, the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the 2024 Olympics, and the 2024 UEFA Women’s Nations League. In the latter, she helped France reach the final, where they lost 2–0 to reigning World Champions Spain.
