Owen Cooper has been named the winner of the award for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, for his performance in the much-talked-about series, ‘Adolescence’.
With this achievement, Cooper becomes the youngest actor to receive such a prestigious award, entering the history of American television.
‘Adolescence’ is a drama series that has received high critical acclaim for its sensitive treatment of growing up, identity, and the challenges of adolescence in a modern society.
During his acceptance speech, Cooper said, “When I started drama school, I never imagined I would be in the United States, let alone here
“Step out of your comfort zone a little. Who cares if you feel uncomfortable?” he added in a bit to inspire young people everywhere.
