During her Ballon d’Or ‘Manager of the year’ award, in reference to celebration and her choice of music, Sarina Wiegman had stated : “if Burna Boy is around, maybe we could do a little bit of dancing too!”

Burna Boy is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer, noted to be Wiegman’s favourite artist, that was invited to surprise the England manager on stage in front of Buckingham Palace during celebrations for the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 win.

The Afro beat singer congratulated Wiegman and responded to her celebratory speech and reference to choice of artist, he wrote on X: “haha, I’m up for it Sarina! A huge congrats to you and the team @Lionesses”
