Anisimova Battles Past Noskova To Win Second Title Of The Season At China Open

Amanda Anisimova defeated Linda Noskova to capture the China Open title in Beijing, securing her second trophy of the season after previously triumphing at the Qatar Open.

Anisimova came out strong, completely sweeping Noskova off her feet in the opening set. The Czech responded in the second, bouncing back impressively to win 6-2. In the deciding set, Anisimova regained control and showcased why she is currently ranked fourth in the world by the WTA, executing a near-flawless performance to seal the title.

This trophy marks a well-deserved reward for the American, who has enjoyed a standout season, reaching six finals including two Grand Slams.

“It’s been quite a few weeks for me, for sure,” Anisimova said after her victory.

“I feel like I’ve learned a lot about myself. I can take a lot of positives and a lot of progress just figuring out ways to face certain challenges and push myself in moments when it feels like I can’t go any further.”
