Morocco have booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup with a 3-1 win over the United States, continuing their impressive run in the tournament.
Fouad Zahouani opened the scoring for Morocco in the 31st minute, but the USA responded just before half-time through a Cole Campbell penalty. In the second half, the North Africans regained the lead when American defender Joshua Wynder scored an own goal in the 67th minute. Gessime Yassine sealed the result with a composed finish in the 87th minute.
The victory marks a historic achievement for Morocco, who now advance to the semi-finals of the U-20 World Cup for the first time. Their route to the last four has been impressive, with wins over Brazil, Spain, and South Korea
