National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP) in a statement on Thursday revealed it has sent an invite to a Nigerian content creator and rapper Speed Okoye known as Akpi or Speed Darlington over sexual relationship with a minor. Federal Government of Nigeria Announces N45, 000 Monthly Stipends For Technical Students Nationwide
President Tinubu’s administration has commenced the implementation of the Technical and Vocational Education Training revamp which seeks to make vocational education more attractive to young Nigerians by offering a N45,000 monthly stipend payment to students. He had earlier approved a N120 billion grant to support the new TVET programme and the funds will be disbursed through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (@NELFUND); this time a grant and not a loan. Part of the TVET revamp also includes restructuring of the curriculum to prioritize practical learning, dedicating 80% of the curriculum to hands-on training and only 20% to theoretical learning.
