Protesters have shut down Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa office at Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo State capital, over the killing of eight farmers by armed herdsmen. It was gathered that the suspected herdsmen invaded the community in the early hours of Wednesday, 18th March, 2025 opening fire on the victims. Angry protesters stormed the Governor’s Office in large numbers, chanting solidarity songs and calling on Aiyedatiwa to urgently intervene and halt the unrelenting attacks on farmers.
