Blackburn academy boss Sir Hamid Patel, has been appointed interim chairman of OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education) in England. The chief executive of Star Academies Trust will remain in the position until a successor is found for Dame Christine Ryan, who announced in November she would be stepping down from the role. The DHQ made this known through a statement by the Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye.
