The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria –NAHCON—disclosed that pilgrims intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2025 will be required to pay between N8.3 million and N8.7 million for fares, depending on their region.The commission’s chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, stated this in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.He defended the fare as the result of extensive deliberations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards.The statement read, “The 2025 Hajj fare for Borno and Adamawa zone’s intending pilgrims is N8.33 million.
