Lagos Arrests 45 Street Beggars in Major Clean-Up Operation

The Lagos State Government has arrested 45 people involved in street begging across parts of the state. The arrests happened during a coordinated clean-up and enforcement exercise in Alimosho, Agege, and Oshodi. According to the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the operation was carried out by environmental officers as part of the state’s regular sanitation drive.
