When Ryan realized 911 wouldn’t be able to save them in time as water rushed into the home, he punched a glass window so they could escape to the roof. The glass nearly severed his arm, cutting an artery. Fighting through the injury, Ryan successfully got his family on the roof. He sadly passed away from blood loss due to the injury to his arm. At least 81 people have been confirmed dead and another 41 are missing following flash floods in central Texas on Friday. Most of the fatalities were in Kerr County, where a riverside Christian girls’ camp was deluged, claiming the lives of a number of children and leaving others missing. The owners of a pet lion that escaped from a farmhouse and injured a woman and her two children have been arrested in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, authorities said Sunday.
