FC Barcelona have reportedly submitted an official contract renewal proposal to defender Andreas Christensen, with the club aiming to extend his stay at the Camp Nou until June 2027.

According to reports from KrrishFT, Barcelona sporting director Deco recently held talks with Christensen’s agent Simon Oliveira to present the renewal offer and discuss the player’s long term future at the club.

The proposed deal would extend Christensen’s current contract, which expires in June 2026, by an additional year, keeping him at the club until 2027.

The offer also includes a reduced salary package, in line with Barcelona’s ongoing Financial Fair Play requirements and internal wage restructuring strategy.

At this stage, Christensen has not yet responded to the proposal and is expected to make a decision in the coming period regarding whether he is willing to accept the revised terms to remain at the club.
