Bayern Munich are set to hold crucial talks with PSV Eindhoven in the coming hours as they look to finalise a deal for Morocco international Ismael Saibari, according to Krrish.
The Bundesliga champions have already submitted an offer worth €50 million, consisting of €45 million in guaranteed payments and a further €5 million in performance-related bonuses. However, PSV are understood to be holding out for a package worth €60 million, including €50 million guaranteed and an additional €10 million in bonuses.
Bayern are eager to accelerate negotiations after Saibari’s impressive performances on the international stage, particularly following his standout display against Brazil at the FIFA World Cup. Club officials reportedly believe his market value could rise further if he continues to shine during the tournament.
The meeting, scheduled after internal discussions on Monday night, is viewed as a significant step in Bayern’s efforts to secure an agreement as quickly as possible.
While Bayern remain the frontrunners for the midfielder’s signature, Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs monitoring the situation. There is also an expectation that further interest from Europe’s top sides could emerge should Saibari maintain his current form at the World Cup.
Negotiations are ongoing, with Bayern hopeful that a breakthrough can be reached soon. The coming hours are expected to be decisive as both clubs attempt to bridge the remaining gap in valuation.
