Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing a fresh offer for Tottenham Hotspur defender Luka Vušković after seeing an initial £30 million bid rejected by Spurs.
According to Krrish, Brighton are working on a new proposal that could be worth around £40 million. However, Tottenham are understood to value the highly-rated Croatian youngster at a package worth approximately £55 million.
While negotiations between the clubs continue, there is currently no agreement on personal terms between Brighton and Vušković’s representatives. Nevertheless, the 18-year-old is believed to be keen on a move that would allow him to continue his development, and talks are expected to progress in the coming weeks.
Tottenham remain open to loan offers for Vušković, but Brighton’s priority is to secure the defender on a permanent transfer rather than a temporary deal.
Discussions between all parties are ongoing as Brighton look to reach an agreement for one of Europe’s most highly regarded young defenders.
