Nottingham Forest head coach Vitor Pereira remains committed to the club despite interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, according to  Ben Jacobs.

Pereira has entered the final year of his current contract at the City Ground and has been in discussions with Forest over a potential extension.

However, while talks have taken place, a new agreement is no longer expected to be finalised this summer. Instead, both Pereira and the club are understood to be comfortable delaying any formal decision until after the start of the new season.

The Portuguese coach remains focused on his future at Nottingham Forest and is intent on staying with the Premier League side despite external interest.

Pereira has one year remaining on his existing deal, with discussions over a contract extension set to continue in the coming months.
